This sculpture is made from Teak wood, decorated with Sterling Silver embellishments and Turquoise studs. Set on black granite stand. The Monk is seen holding an “Ingot”, representing wealth and good fortune. Teak is the common name for the tropical hardwood tree species Tectona grandis and its wood products are native to South and Southeast Asia. Lotus Arts de Vivre uses various free-formations of the teak branches, teak root or driftwood to further hand-carve and create its designs.
