Keyaki or Japanese Elm is a species of the genus Zelkova native to Japan, Korea, eastern China and Taiwan and is often grown as an ornamental tree. Keyaki wood is a highly prized wood in Japan for its beautiful grain, hardness and weight. It can be polished or stained.

This majestic piece took over 2 months to make, with over 14 designers and craftsmen involved.
