Japanese Folding Chairs (Kyokuroku) made in circa 1900. This fine Japanese folding armchair is retractable to make it concise for movement.
These chairs were originally introduced by Chinese Priests to Japan. They are most frequently found in Shinto Temples where they are used as decorative seating for Priests.
