Panda Sculpture hand-crafted from a single piece of Teak root wood. The head and legs of the Panda are made of Sterling silver and the eyes are made of Tiger's Eyes. The Sculpture comes to life with the Panda chewing on a Bamboo, decorated with Gold Leaf. Set on black granite stand.
The panda is a powerful spirit animal inspiring tranquil strength and determination. Under its soft and fuzzy appearances, this animal totem brings forth the importance of strong personal boundaries to feel safe and grounded in life.
The teak, sourced carefully from the Java Islands of Indonesia contains unique curvy grain, making up only 20%-25% of a teak tree and root; It is far more difficult to purchase than any other teak and hence considered the ‘Grade A’ of the teak woods. Lotus Arts de Vivre uses various free-formations of the teak branches, teak root or drift wood to further hand-carve and create its designs.
The piece took 15 craftsmen and designers 2.5 months to complete.
