Ebony wood bowl decorated seamlessly with Sterling Silver, transformed into a wooden Dolphin. The Dolphin has been feminized with a small Silver flower tiara and with its eyes having been studded with Tiger eye Quartz, it brings the piece to life.
The ebony has been sourced from Indonesia, which along with Africa, has the best quality Ebony, that grows slowly over hundreds of years. Ebony is a dense black hardwood, derived from the Ancient Egyptian ‘hbny’. It is dense enough to sink in water, it is finely-textured and has a very smooth finish when polished, making it valuable as an ornamental wood.
The dolphin as a spirit animal is a representation of balance and harmony because they are in tune with their instincts and highly intelligent. Dolphins are also seen as a symbol of resurrection and rebirth. Dreams about seeing dolphins swimming and sliding through seawaters symbolize the dreamer's personal development and journey, i.e., on a path of personal growth, emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual.
