A Takmoh sculpture carved from a single piece of Bamboo wood. Lotus Arts de Vivre has decorated it with Sterling Silver and a Gol Gilded Prayer Bead Necklace, set on a black marble stand.
Takmoh was a Buddhist monk who lived during the 5th/6th century CE called Bodhidharma (Takmoh). He is traditionally credited as the transmitter of Ch'an to China, and regarded as its first Chinese patriarch. According to Chinese legend, he also began the physical training of the Shaolin monks that led to the creation of Shaolinquan. He is the father of Zen Buddhism.
