A beautiful pair of earrings designed with carved Chinese red lacquer and antique gold floral cascades at the bottom decorated with Rubellites and Emeralds. The back of the earrings are 18K Gold.
The design of these earrings feature multiple intricately crafted flowers that are linked together in a cascade. Each flower is carefully etched with fine details that are truly mesmerizing to behold. Being an antique, the finish of the gold gives the earrings a timeless appeal. To complete the gorgeous look of these Earrings, they have been adorned with sweet Pink Rubellite stones and Emerald, that catch the light beautifully and add a touch of femininity and charm. The antique Gold floral cascades were sourced from a private collection a few decades ago during the travels of the von Buerens to India and recently were decided to be designed upon. Lotus Arts de Vivre designed it minimally to keep the original appeal of this masterful design, which in the era of its making, would have been handcrafted with the utmost care and attention to detail by the master artisans.
The red lacquer pieces were originally a part of an antique Chinese fan, which was then cut and transformed as embellishments to this pair of earrings. Lotus Arts de Vivre collaborates with traditional lacquer artists from China and has its designs lacquered up to 100 layers, taking 4-7 months to complete a piece. It is then hand carved with master carvers, making them stunning pieces, often used in art installations and Jewelry.
After sourcing the carved red lacquer and the antique gold flowers, the piece was painstakingly designed and finished by 8 craftsmen and designers involved at various stages, taking 4 months to complete.
