Spectacular limited edition bronze vase by renown artist Masuo Ikeda (1934-1997).  A multitalented personality, Masuo exhibited extensively around the world, including  famous individual show in New York museum of Modern Art in 1965.  His other talents included pottery, prints, paintings and even film directing.

This Kabin (vase), is ideal for the beautiful Japanese minimalistic Ikebana decoration. In ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, blossoms, branches, leaves, and stems find new life as materials for artmaking. In contrast to the western habits of casually placing flowers in a vase, ikebana aims to bring out the inner qualities of flowers and other live materials and express emotion. Ikebana is influenced by Buddhist ideals of minimalism.
