Handbag made from a beautiful antique Indian Saree border with intricate Silver Zari work, framed beautifully with Bamboo. The handle of the bag has been made with Bamboo that naturally curved into a semi circle, with the edges set in Rose Cut Diamonds and Tsavorites mounted on Black Rhodium Plated Sterling Silver with a Gold décor trim. The lock at the center of the bag has been crafted with an antique carved Red Coral sunflower, which was a lock of a former Kimono Belt, sits pretty atop a cylindrical décor of Silver and Black Rhodium.

The centerpiece of the Handbag seamlessly merges the stunning Red Coral sunflower framed with Black Wood, blooming from between Red Coral Carved Sunflower leaves, embellished with Tsavorites and Triangle Diamonds. The bag stands on four graceful cloisonné beads.

About Indian ‘Zari’ Art:
Indian Zari work is an intricate art of weaving threads made up of
fine gold or silver. These threads are further woven into fabrics primarily made up of silk to create intricate patterns. Zari thread is widely used for weaving, but more selectively in embroidery. The designs made in zari work are so precise and beautiful that apart from the monetary value of these threads, the overall fabric also gets rich and royal look. Traditionally zari thread was formed and it was used as an embellishment of the royal attire.
There were 21 craftsmen involved, taking 4 months to design and finish the Bag.
